Life is ever-changing, it is all about growing with the environment that you are in. We face challenges and difficulties every day but the point is how do we get out from them and what do we learn from them. Hi, my name is Lee Ping Nee and I am about to share with you my transformational stories!

I have been an athlete/runner all my life and team captain most of the time. Being an athlete has made me tougher, stronger, and more perseverant, not just the physical strength that I am talking about, but also my mentality! And being a captain has sharpened my leadership skills and how to deal with people from different walks of life. Sport has taught me how to be positive and not to give up in life. When I get injured or lose in a race, I know how to adjust my feelings so that I can train harder and come back stronger! Therefore, when my family was in dilemma, I was able to stand back up although it took me some time. Without all these years of being an athlete, I would have been miserable in my life. I truly appreciate the greatness of sports, and that is what I am trying to tell the people around me, my friends and my teammates.

I am not a great individual, but I use my way and try my best to bring a positive influence to my surroundings. Sports have slowly transformed me over the years, it made me become a stronger person without me knowing. I always wanted to help people and contribute to the community, and now I am doing it in my way. What I am trying to say here is, we might not have a big impact on the community but everyone has their ways of doing things. Besides, I have completed Degree in Dietetics and now I am helping more people in need with my knowledge and skills! Everyone has their worth in this society, big or small, it doesn’t matter. If you don’t see it now, you will see it one day and that one day is coming soon!

I don’t have a great impact, I don’t have fancy words but I am who I am. Thank you for reading my stories!
